Ghanaian Pop Star Fuse ODG beats Nigerian Ice Prince, Tiwa Savage & Wizkid to take home the award for Best African Act


The 2013 MOBO awards that was held last night at the Hydro Arena in Glasgow Scotland, with Laura Mvula the big winner as she took home 2 gongs.

Laura picked up to wins in the categories for best R&B/Soul act and best female act.

She saw off competition from the likes of Jessie J, Rita Ora, Angel and Lianne La Havas.

Meanwhile, Sean Paul picked up the gong for best reggae act. He was in a category with Stylo G, Mavado, Tarrus Riley and Popcaan.

Frisky rapper Tinie Tempah got his award for best hip hop/grime act, and was presenting with the trophy by Ashley Banjo and former Pussycat Doll Kimberley Wyatt.

Ghanaian pop star Fuse ODG picked up the award for Best African Act from the table of Nija Ice Prince, Tiwa Savage & Wizkid. Congratulations Fuse ODG.
