The Avengers was the third highest-grossing movie of all time and no star benefited more from Avengers than Robert Downey Jr. Who stared as Tony Stark, though he was not the leader of the group (that honor belongs to Captain America) but Downey was the only indispensable actor which meant he was able to demand the most money.
