I Prefer Javier Hernandez Than Welbeck; Fans Lament

Javier Hernandez
It is fair to say that Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez has not enjoyed the best of seasons. Despite 20 appearances in the Premier League to date, most of those have come from the bench and he has a goal-scoring return of just four.

But against Newcastle United on Saturday afternoon Hernandez got the chance to start, score and shine as David Moyes' side ran out 4-0 winners. Hernandez set up the second goal of the afternoon for Juan Mata, before Shinji Kagawa turned provider for Chicharito, and the latter's stats for the match as a whole were pretty impressive as he scored one, set up one, played one key pass and had three scoring attempts.

The result sent United back up to sixth in the table, but it is the CL United and their fans will really have their eyes on.  And Hernandez will be just one of many players wondering if he will feature against the holders Bayern Munich. There are certainly plenty out there who think the Mexican international should be given that chance, as we found out when we took to Twitter after the match.

Here is what some United fans has to say

What a performance today by both Hernandez & Mata. It's just too foolish now for anyone to really think United don't have a chance in Munich.

Hernandez does not get the praise he deserves. Letting him go would be a big mistake.

Mata and Hernandez looks like they have good chemistry

I would prefer Hernandez than Welbeck to play against Bayern
