Buhari is coming home to Nigeria today

President Muhammadu Buhari is expected back in Nigeria today Saturday 19th of August 2019. Meanwhile members of Concerned Nigerians (CN) in United Kingdom gathered outside President Muhammadu Buhari's London residence to protest yesterday 18th August. The protesters where demanding that the President should return home to Nigeria or resign immediately due to an undisclosed ailment that has kept him out of office for more than 100 days.
The protesters could be seen setting up placards and banners outside the president residence that have words like:

"Protect lives, not cows. "Buhari, go back home. "Resume or Resign, Nigerians say enough is enough."
At almost the same time in Nigeria, another protest was going on in Lagos and was led by Nigeria entertainer, Charles Oputa (aka Charly Boy).It was meant to force the President to return home immediately from his medical vacation in London and resume work, failing which he should relinquish power. The protesters were seen holding banners that have words like:

"Resume or Resign."

In a statement by the Special Adviser on media and publicity, Femi Adesina, 'The President had left the country on May 7, this year, after handing over power to Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, who has functioned as Acting President since then. But President Buhari back home (Nigeria) today and he is expected to speak to Nigerians in a broadcast by 7 a.m on Monday, August 21, 2017'.
“He thanks all Nigerians who have prayed ceaselessly for his recovery and well-being since the beginning of the health challenge.” Said Mr Femi Asesina.
