Luis Enrique is ready to ignore Pedro's reported transfer request and block any move made for him in the January transfer window. Pedro hit the headlines this morning as several publications reported that he had privately handed Enrique a transfer request. Several Premier League clubs had shown an interest in the 27-year-old and it appears he was ready to force a January move.
However, with Barcelona banned from making transfers until 2016, Enrique does not want any unnecessary departures. He is ready to keep Pedro at the club, seemingly against his will, regardless of January offers.
