Rumour has it that the sensational song writer Omawumi Mgbele has secretly married her boo and baby daddy, Tosin Yussuf, in a private ceremony held on Saturday, September 13 in Warri, her hometown.
Late July this year 2013, Omawumi, said that she would tie the knot with her lover sometime in 2015 but disclosed that very few would get invited to the ceremony, which would not be lavish.
It looks like the singer has taken the first step towards this, as her traditional engagement is reported to have taken place.
The engagement ceremony was marked alongside the singer’s late Dad’s 10th year memorial in Warri. According to reports, the event had fellow artist like Waje, very few friends and family members in attendance.
Pictures of Omawumi’s engagement ring went rival online a few weeks ago.
She rose to prominence in 2007 as the 1st runner-up of the West African Idols, a reality TV music show.
