WWE wrestler Sean Christopher Haire, who performed under the name 'Sean O'Haire,' was found dead in his house. Spartanburg County Coroner Rusty Clevenger said the body of the 43-year-old Haire was found on Tuesday.
Clevenger said on Wednesday that his office is conducting a joint investigation with the Spartanburg Police Department. He said the cause of death is still under investigation, and that results from an external examination and toxicology reports are pending.
Haire trained with now-defunct World Championship Wrestling and made his debut with the company in 2000. He won multiple tag-team championships with WCW before the company was sold to WWE. O'Haire wrestled for WWE until 2004 before he was injured in a motorcycle accident.
He left wrestling and pursued a short-lived mixed-martial-arts career.
