Solomon Dalung the minister of sports, disclosed on his Facebook post that President Buhari will be returning soon from London although he did not specify the exact date when he is expected back in the country.
Meanwhile Sahara Reporters, recently claimed that the cabals in the presidency are trying to bring back President Muhammdu Buhari into the country to mark the end of the Ramadan fasting. The online paper also reported that President Buhari is lucid sometimes. In an earlier report, Sahara Reporters stated that Buhari had developed speech difficulties in London.
However, we have not been able to verify the above claims on the president's health. President Muhammadu Buhari departed for London in May, 2017, for a medical checkup, leaving Vice President Yemi Osinbajo to lead the country once again. The president had on January 19 traveled to London to undergo routine medical check-ups during a short holiday. Buhari returned on March 10 after an extended period of medical treatment, but hinted that he would return to London for more treatment. Though the president admitted that he was indeed sick, he however did not disclose the nature of his illness.
