Cruzeiro midfielder Everton Ribeiro has opened talks with Manchester United over a January transfer, his agent has revealed. Ribeiro, who is rated as one of the rising stars in Brazil, has been strongly linked with a move to United in the last few weeks.
And despite Cruzeiro initially suggesting that the 24-year-old was not for sale, his agent has revealed that negotiations are already underway over a move to Old Trafford.

Any deal for Ribeiro would likely cost in excess of £15million, but United are keen to add at least one midfielder to their squad in Janaury, and have been following a number of targets.
