Don Jazzy, D'banj Reunite For Studio Session With American Artist Wale, Olamide, Kay Switch

American artist Wale is currently in Nigeria for the Johnnie Walker show being held on the 30th November in Lagos.

Don Jazzy shared some pictures of their studio time yesterday night and it's great to see Dbanj' on the mix. We're sensing a reunion sometime soon for former label mates Don Jazzy and D'banj.

A 17-year-old girl, who has been accused by her sister-in-law of stealing N3,000 from her handbag, died in Kubwa, FCT, on Tuesday November 26, 2013, after taking substances suspected to be poison. The girl was allegedly beaten and had her hair shaved with bottle before being stripped naked by her sister-in-law at NEPA Road in Kubwa.

A police source at Kubwa said the sister-in-law blamed the teenager in taking her money, shaved off the girl’s hair with broken bottles and stripped her naked on the street after torturing her. “The woman was furious because she accused the deceased of always pilfering from her handbag every day and out of anger, she beat up the deceased, scrapped her head with broken bottles and stripped her naked publicly,” the source said.

A company from Poland which offers funeral services has issued a calendar for the year 2014 which shows unclad girls and coffins. The coffin makers try to attract clients by inviting beautiful girls to promote their products by posing nude for them.

The creators of the calendar state that they achieved ‘perfect harmony between coffins and natural wood, blue sea, red flowers, green fields and beauty of the female body’.

The picture above is Kayode Oshin a 21 year old Nigerian, who uploaded a video on YouTube boasting about trying to murder a rival with a machine gun was jailed for 22 years on Tuesday 26th November 2013. His accomplice, Junior Tahir-Akinyele (pictured left) was jailed for 14 years.

Kayode Oshin pictured right, attempted to assassinate Yassin Zouaiou with a Mac 10 in a feud over drugs and money in Hounslow, west London, after being enticed into a world of gang culture and crime, a court heard.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, on Thursday presented Rev. Kim David Pam before Justice Yargate B. Nimpar of the Plateau State High Court on a 9-count charge bordering on stealing, fraudulent misappropriation and criminal breach of trust.

The accused is said to have abused his position as Chairman of Goodliving Multi-purpose Cooperative Society and the sole signatory of the accounts domiciled in First Bank Nigeria Plc and Zenith Bank Nigeria Plc. Rev Pam pleaded not guilty to all the charges.

Panic Arise In Ekiti State As Goat Delivers A Mystery Human Baby

On Tuesday at Olori-Oko community, Ogotun Ekiti in Ekiti Southwest Local Government Area of Ekiti State, a mysterious thing took place as a goat delivered a creature that really resembled a human being. Community residents and people from the neighboring villages rushed to the site in order to catch a glimpse of the strange creature.

The goat was said to have delivered a ‘mystery human baby’ around 6am yesterday, having fallen into labour around 8pm on Monday. A community leader, who spoke on behalf of the Village Head, Mr. Ganiyu Adetokun, (name not given) said a Pastor, Daniel Odedele, came to the rescue of the goat when it became clear that it needed help to deliver the kid.

ASUU’s position was made known by the National Treasurer, Dr. Ademola Aremu, in an interview with The Nation in Ibadan on Wednesday. The Union said it asked Jonathan to facilitate the endorsement of resolutions reached with him and signed by high ranking government official preferably the Attorney-General of the Federation but not a Permanent Secretary.

ASUU said their representative of the body, including the President of Nigeria Labour Congress, Abdulwahid Omar, would stand as witnesses. Aremu also said the striking lecturers wanted the N200 billion agreed upon as 2013 revitalisation fund for public universities to be warehoused with the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) and disbursed to the benefiting universities.

After a long-running case that has gripped the country, the couple broke down in court yesterday after they were found guilty. Today the prosecutors had asked for the death penalty against the pair, who are both dentists and claim they are victims of police incompetence.

The couple will appeal against the guilty verdict handed down by the same local court on Monday. Aarushi was found dead in her bedroom on May 16 2008, just a few days before her 14th birthday.

The body of 45-year-old Hamraj, who had worked for the family for 10 years, was found on the roof of the house the following day. Both had had their throats cut, and been beaten with golf clubs. Early in the investigation, police alleged Rajesh had murdered Aarushi and Hemraj in a rage after finding them in a compromising situation.

Asari Dokubo Has Been Arrested In Benin Republic

Today, Tuesday, November 26, 2013, my friend and client, Alhaji Mujahid Dokubo-Asari, was arrested in Cotonou, Benin Republic, around the hours of 1:00pm and 2:00pm by the country’s gendarmes (Police Force).

He was picked up around the Lubeleyi roundabout and taken to an unknown destination. We want to emphasise that Alhaji Dokubo-Asari carries on legitimate business and has been living partly in Benin Republic for many years now. In fact, he owns houses, schools and an academy in that country. All these places have been searched as at this evening and nothing incriminating was found.

The Senate today also resolved in the committee of whole to suspend plenary and other legislative activities in honour of late Honourable Raphael Nomiye from Ondo State.

Approving the resolution in the committee of the whole, deputy senate president Ike Ekweremadu said it is the tradition of the chamber to dedicate a day to mourn and commiserate with any lawmaker who die in active service.

Freaky call: The Colorado woman got a missed call from the number, 116666660666

A Colorado mother got a strange call in the middle of the night from a strange source, 1-666-666-666 and within hours she received dozens of texts messages from multiple numbers, all displaying 'Satan' on her caller ID. The woman, Jenn Vest was half asleep while breast-feeding her son when her phone rang from the number 1-666-666-666.

She said, "It really freaked me out because I was half asleep feeding my son and it woke me up. I thought maybe I was dreaming at first, and then I stayed up the rest of the night praying and hoping nothing would happen."

A 19 year old homeless Nigerian has been arrested in Italy for allegedly killing a 60 year old woman. Nwajiobi Donald who is pictured above, allegedly strangled Caterina Susca with a bag over her head in her home in Bari, a southern Italian coastal city on Monday November 11th Unknown to him, a neighbor took his pictures as he left Susca’s house after the murder.

Donald confessed to the murder on November 14th after he was arrested by the police who confronted him with numerous pieces of incriminating evidence collected in the hours immediately following the crime. According to reports, the victim was found semi-naked with a plastic bag over her head and her skull crushed in.

Police Affairs Correspondent, Osamudiamen Aghimien quotes the Edo State Commissioner of Police, Foluso Adebanjo as assuring residents in the state of peaceful and crime free yuletide.

Academic activities were disrupted on Thursday morning last week at Zanna Nursery and Primary School, Ekpoma, Edo state, Nigeria, when the rumour of alleged kidnap of four children in the school filtered into town. There was pandemonium in the premises of Zanna Nursery and Primary School, Ekpoma as parents and relatives of pupils trooped into the school to ascertain the safety of their children.

When the gate of the school was thrown open, parents who was apparently scared of the news gladly took their children home. Some parents who spoke at the scene said, though they cannot ascertain the level of authenticity of the rumour they decided not to take chances.

The car is question is known as the Toyota FV2. The Toyota Motor Show is when the public will be able to see it for the first time. Takeo Moirai is a manager in Toyota’s product planning group and he was chosen to speak about the potential appeal of the FV2. He said that it is designed to reach out to members of the “digital generation”.
