A TV camera crew filming a report about forest fires unwittingly caught a UFO flying through the sky. The clip was being filmed in West Kelowna, Canada, and during an interview a white object can be seen zipping in the sky high above the mountains, with a thin white trail coming off it.

Jet Airways Flight Drops 5000 Feet On Auto Mode, While Pilot Was Asleep

New Delhi: It was a close shave for passengers on board Jet Airways Mumbai - Brussles flight 9W228 when the aircraft abruptly dropped 5,000 feet in altitude while the pilot was taking a nap or controlled rest and the co-pilot in command was busy working on her tablet.

On flights that are more than 3 hours long, the DGCA allows pilots to take rest for up to 40 minutes to combat fatigue. In the meantime, the second pilot takes charge of the plane for the duration. The Jet flight was flying at a designated altitude of 34,000 feet in Ankara airspace over Turkey. There was a sudden drop in altitude of 5000 feet without any warning. The Ankara ATC had to make a frantic call to the pilot. However, the co-pilot failed to notice the drop as she was busy on her tablet.

Woman Beaten To Death And Stuffed In A Suitcase In Bali

An 18-year-old American woman and her boyfriend have been arrested in connection with the killing of Sheila von Weise Mack, 62 the woman's mother, whose body was found inside a suitcase at a luxury hotel in Bali, CNN affiliate Trans TV reported Wednesday.

Her daughter, Heather Mack, and the daughter's 21-year-old boyfriend, Peter Schaefer, were later found by police sleeping in a hotel room in Kuta, according to Trans TV. Kuta is a town about 10 kilometers (6 miles) away from the St. Regis which is the place the mother was killed.

Police said that the couple told them that they had been taken captive at the resort Tuesday by an armed gang whose members killed Sheila, but that they later managed to escape, Trans TV reported. However, hotel workers and the taxi driver who turned in the body to police gave a different version of events.

Separatists were "ordered" to position a Buk anti-aircraft missile near the village of Pervomaisk in eastern Ukraine, but because the fighters were Russian, not local, they confused two settlements with the same name and less than 100 kilometers apart, Nalyvaichenko said in a statement by his agency.

"From the location that had been intended originally, the Aeroflot passenger plane was to be hit so that it would have fallen on territory controlled by the armed forces," Nalyvaichenko was quoted as saying by Ukraine's Liga Novosti news agency.

JJ Murphy, the veteran Northern Irish actor who had just joined the cast of Game of Thrones, died suddenly on Friday. The 86-year-old was just four days into filming the role of Ser Denys Mallister - a new character to be introduced in the show's fifth season. He had reportedly told friends he was "excited" to be working on the cult hit series, and was due to film more scenes. His death has left the fate of his character has in doubt.

RCCG Records 111 Babies At Convention

NO fewer than 1,100 fresh pastors were, on Sunday morning, being the last day, ordained at the 62nd Annual Convention of The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG). This is because a total of 111 babies, comprising 63 boys and 48 girls, were born during the one-week convention which began on August 4.

General Overseer of the mission, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, made the announcement during the ordination of new pastors and farewell service held on Sunday morning at the Arena, Redemption Camp, Ogun State. Nigeria: NNPC Shuts Down Clinic in Lagos

The management of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) yesterday announced the indefinite shutdown of its clinic in the Muri Okunola area of Victoria Island, Lagos. The development follows a suspected case of Ebola virus in a patient on admission at the clinic, said a statement issued yesterday by the NNPC's spokesman, Ohi Alegbe.

"It was discovered that the patient visited the First Consultant Medical Centre during the period the first Ebola case was reported at that clinic," the statement read. The corporation further explained that the pre-emptive step was taken after the case was duly reported to the Federal Ministry of Health as well as officials of the Lagos State Ministry of Health.

3D printing can make an action figure copy of your body and face, but the hair usually ends up looking like a Lego minifig wig. The mad scientists at Disney Research just solved that, with an algorithm so powerful it can trace your hair's shape and color with ultra-realism.

The research team at Disney Research Zurich and the University of Zaragoza took inspiration from the classical sculptors, who created lifelike representations of hair using solid forms rather than trying to capture the shape and size of individual hairs:

These days you can find a growing number of Android tablets that feature Intel processors. But what if you want to install Android on your existing notebook, tablet, or desktop PC which has an Intel or AMD processor?

There are a few different ways to do it… but one of the best is to use Android-x86. It’s a modified version of Android Open Source Project (AOSP) code designed to run on devices with AMD or Intel chips and the team has just released the first stable build based on Android 4.4 KitKat.

When citizen scientists first discovered that ISEE-3 was still out there transmitting data, they put together a crowd funding project and took over an abandoned McDonalds, hoping to regain control of the satellite's flight path and send it on new missions. Unfortunately, ISEE-3's propulsion systems are shot.

But ISEE-3 is still transmitting data, and this weekend the lonely capsule will swing past the moon and wave at earth for the first time in decades. And thanks to the Google Chrome experiment A Spacecraft For All, regular old folks like you and me can tap into ISEE-3's data feeds and watch live as it cruises through the old neighborhood.

Health workers have hailed reported success of the experimental drug, ZMapp, on Ebola infected American doctor, Dr Kent Brantly and American Missionary Health worker, Ms. Nancy Writebol. Within an hour of receiving ZMapp, the Ebola-infected Dr. Brantly’s condition dramatically improved. He was said to have began breathing easier; the rash over his trunk faded away. One of his doctors described the events that followed after he was given the drug as “miraculous.”

The female health worker, Ms. Writebol, also received a vial of the medication. Although her response was not as remarkable at first, doctors administered a second dose of the drug on her again on Sunday, and this time it resulted in significant improvement
