As Manchester United present their new record signing Angel Di Maria, manager Van Gaal warns all united fans not to expect instant miracle from the Argentine midfielder
The Argentine international joined United this week in a record £59.7million deal from Real Madrid. The 26-year old has been handed the club's famous number 7 shirt and it is hoped that his arrival will reverse the fortunes of the club who have had a humiliating start to the season, with a 4-0 defeat to League One side MK Dons.
Van Gaal, however, has warned that the midfielder cannot be expected to transform fortunes immediately.
Speaking at a press conference to unveil Di Maria, Van Gaal said: "I am very pleased that we can have such a class player in our squad but we have many world class players. He said.
